Country Music Alberta has a new website!

As you may have noticed, things have changed at www.countrymusicalberta.com! We've transitioned away from Wordpress to Wix. Here are some frequently asked questions and some answers that should help ease the transition.

I received an email asking me to reset my password - what gives?

Because we're moving to a new platform, we have created accounts for all of the existing members of Country Music Alberta's previous website. You simply need to reset your password on the new platform and you'll be able to access your brand new profile and account.

I received an email saying I "ordered a plan" - huh?

If you have an active membership with Country Music Alberta, we are moving the membership to the new platform for you. This involves us "purchasing a plan" (your membership) on your behalf. DON'T WORRY. You will not be charged any amount of money - this is just Wix's way of saying "Hey - someone assigned a membership to you. You can now do cool stuff with your new account!"

Country Music Alberta acknowledges that what we call Alberta is traditional and ancestral Indigenous land. The Treaty 6, 7, and 8 lands on which we all live, work, and play include the traditional and ancestral territories of the Beaver, Cree, Dene, Saulteaux, and Nakota Sioux peoples, as well as the Tsuut'ina Nation, Stoney Nakoda First Nations, the Siksika, Kainai, and Piikani Nations of the Blackfoot Confederacy, and the Métis Nations of Alberta. We recognize and acknowledge all First Nations, Métis, and Inuit peoples who have lived on and cared for these lands for generations.
