Welcome to the Cook County Road to the CCMAs Funding Program!

Are you a talented member of Country Music Alberta with a headlining performance at Cook County Saloon? This is your opportunity to shine even brighter. Thanks to our partnership with CFCW, Country Music Alberta, and Cook County Saloon, we're thrilled to present the "Road to Country Music Week" in Edmonton, set for September 2024.

Our mission is simple: to empower and support local artists. Members of Country Music Alberta can apply for a one-time grant of $500.00 if they are headlining at Cook County Saloon between September 23, 2023, and August 26, 2024, or until our allocated $10,000 funding has been utilized. But that's not all – Cook County Saloon and CFCW will actively promote your show during the week leading up to your appearance. We understand the financial challenges artists face, so this grant can assist in covering your musicians' expenses.

 

Grant Submission Deadlines:

• Intake One: Performances between September 23, 2023, and February 29, 2024

• • Deadline: March 8, 2024

  • 10 honorariums will be awarded

• Intake Two: Performances between March 1, 2024, and August 26, 2024

• • Deadline: August 30, 2024

  • 10 honorariums will be awarded

 

Important Note:

This grant is available for Country Music Alberta members on a one-time-only basis. If you are headlining at Cook County Saloon within the specified timeframe and are unsuccessful in the first intake, you can reapply for the second intake. However, please note that artists successful in receiving the grant in the first intake are not eligible for the second intake.
